Career Goals

My immediate career goal for the next year is to transition from teaching to a full-time associateship at the Equilibrium, the private practice where I am currently fulfilling my associate residency. This opportunity allows me to deepen my clinical skills and experience within a therapeutic setting while working under the supervision of licensed professionals. Over the next three years, I aim to grow into a highly competent therapist by developing a deeper knowledge of evidence-based practices, focusing on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I engage actively in professional development, pursue continued training, and embrace ongoing supervision and self-reflection to hone my therapeutic approach. Upon obtaining full licensure, I aspire to integrate my educational background with my clinical experience, ultimately moving into a teaching and supervisory role where I can mentor future counselors and contribute to the field through both practice and education.
